The Bieszczady Mountains are the south-easternmost part of Poland. They are one of the biggest tourist attractions in Europe. The mountains with their magnificent and untouched nature, Solina Lake created through damming up the River San and Solinka by the biggest dam in Poland, unique climate, abundance, of rare flora and fauna species, all these create ideal conditions for rest and tourism.
WZW Jawor is situated nearly in the centre of the Bieszczady on a peninsula of the area of 50 ha. It is on a southern slope of Jawor Mountain, on the bank of Solina Lake.
The resort operates the whole year. It can accommodate up to 550 guests providing them with a diverse standard of rooms.
One of the most important health factors is a superb climate and the clean environment.
WZW Jawor has well-equipped surgeries and fitness clubs.
Our guests can take advantage balneokinetic and physiotherapeutic massages such as underwater and ordinary massages, whips, baths, paraffin compresses, sauna, solarium, inhalations and many more, as vvell as therapeutic gymnastics for adults and children. We also run a chemists and laboratory.
At their disposal our guests have a fully equipped sports hall, swimming pool, bowling alley, pool, tennis courts, three cafes, a conference hall and cinema, library and sports equipment hire. There are many shops, the post office, cable and satellite TV and a petrol station.We organise sightseeing tours, hikes and coach trips. Anglers can fish many species offish here.
During summer seasons there operates a marina with a hire office and a port offering many facilities. Our guests can go on a Solina Lake cruise by a passenger ship and take part in outdoor events such as bonfires and festivities. During winter seasons visitors can ice skate on adapted rinks and go skiing.
There is a T-bar lift and ski run 1250 m long. We also organise sleigh rides.
We run survival courses with their main attraction paintball games.
